Japanese 6-in-1 chain maille was used by Samurai warriors to link together solid plates of armour. Large and small rings are doubled to make a daisy pattern.
Originally designed to be used as armour, chain maille was developed more than 2000 years ago. it was Shakespeare who made chain maille popular for personal adornment; it was worn as jewellery by the actors in his plays.
Once you have mastered the technique from this kit, experiment using different coloured jump rings or move onto Precious Metal!
