NOTE: This is the ECONOMICAL version of the GRS top brand which retails for just under £200.
The solder board may have slight grey scuff marks from coming into contact with the metal arms, which are deliberately left loose when this item is shipped to reduce stress on the joints. For this reason, you will require a small screwdriver to tighten the arms after unpacking. The metal pincers/alligator clips are not finished in shiny chrome, they are made of a high-heat tolerant metal.
For someone on a budget wanting to start out soldering, who can't afford the GRS version, this is a good solution. Please do not expect High Quality this is an ECONOMICAL but very usable solution.
