There is no bevel on either cutting edge. The backside is absolutely flat at an angle of 45° to the plane of the cutting surfaces. The exceptionally sharp edges produce cuts with virtually no raised surface on the cut lead. Also, minimum shock is imparted to the cut lead or component. The pointed head allows for increased cutting access yet has sufficient strength to avoid tip breakage when used within its capacity. Will cut soft copper wire ranging from .004 inches-.035 inches (0.10–0.90mm) diameter.
Standard cutters with full relief have lower profiles than cutters with semi-relief.
Not for Memory Wire, suitable for soft metals such as Copper, Sterling, Fine Silver, Gold Filled & Gold.
Limit cutting at tip up to 22g
Limit cutting in the middle of cutting edge up to 18g
