This Butane Gas Pencil Torch will melt silver and gold solder, small brazing rods, and many other materials (gold, silver, copper, tin, aluminium). It's easy to maintain, use, and recharge, and designed to hold just enough butane to do the job safely.

It heats up parts almost instantly and solders nicely. When you are soldering, you may have to be careful not to let any particles get into the orifice and clog it. Should it get clogged, there is a solution, just unscrew the orifice and spray a blast of butane through the orifice in reverse and it'll blow the clog out.
