Kumihimo Double Density Disks are made of 3/4" (20mm) thick foam—double the thickness of our standard kumihimo disks!
The additional tension created by the increased thickness is useful when braiding Tex 135 S-Lon, #12 Pearle silk, and 30G (or smaller) wire.
Like our original kumihimo disks, the Double Density disks are available in your choice of two sizes. The large disk (KD606, KD607) is 6" in diameter, and the Kumihimo Double Density Mini Disk (KD608, KD609) is 4-1/4" in diameter.
Both are compatible with our Kumi Handle (KDHOLD). Both disk packages include illustrated braiding instructions. In addition, the large disk includes three project ideas, and the mini disk includes one project idea.
